  2. Uh oh...! I can't find this map in my store! :( Is something wrong, or is this map just not fully released yet?

  3. Apologies for not sticking the image in a spoiler!

And thanks for the heads up!
  4. Been enjoying this map for the last 4 hours with my son, is it possible there is a glitch? We think we have covered the steps needed for the end to happen but nothing? I don't want to say to much here as I do not want to spoil for others? Is anyone else having any issues?

  5. @Dkz Angelfire I replied to you in a DM with a small "How-to Finish: Adventurer's Dream" Guide.
  6. What kind of tools do you guys use to build more efficiently when building somthing like this? Also, what tools do you use to make/how are you making custom block skins? Do things like world painter work with MC win 10 edition? I've only ever played on xbox and am trying to transition to win 10.
  7. I'll answer to the builds, probably need to have Skyao check in on the block and skin tools. We're developing the larger, gameplay oriented maps in the Java edition, specifically to use tools such as World Painter, World Edit, and Voxel Sniper, as well as larger servers. Once those maps are converted to the Bedrock Engine we finish the mechanics by hand. The survival spawns are built entirely by hand in the W10 version, as seeds don't translate over through the world conversion tool.

    Hope that helps!
  8. Thank you, that helps a lot!
  9. I am also having problems finishing the board. Could I get the "How-to Finish: Adventurer's Dream" Guide please?
  10. I bought the Adventurer's Dream pack on iOS, played for an hour or so, went to load the world today and just am in an endless cycle of falling from a high place in an empty world to my death far below. Over, and over, and over. Suppose I could start again but not entirely sure I can be bothered to re-do everything I did yesterday.
  11. The following is courtesy of the great MeWulf:

If you finished all the dungeons; then in the maps room (The big round temple thingy next to the city) there should be 10 buttons on the ground, Like this:
This means you did all the dungeons! YAAI!.
Now the gate to the Sacred Armory should be open.
If you manage to kill the dragon in the Arena, congratulations you finished the map!
  12. I'd like to get to the bottom of this to determine if it was a map bug or a Minecraft bug that caused it. Can you give any more information about where you were or what you were doing before you logged off the first time?
  13. I was back in the town, standing on the roof of the tavern, trying to work out how to get the chest that is there in the eaves - near the beware of the dragon sign. Saved and quit while standing still.
  14. PM-ing you so we don't clog this thread with our troubleshooting.
  15. I'm really enjoying this creation, thank you! My son and I love it. I have two questions: (1.) On his Android device the player begins the template with wood and such in the inventory and they play as normal. BUT, on an iPhone 6s the player begins the template with nothing in their inventory and they cannot collect any blocks at all, just items in chests. Blocks break but nothing can be collected. (2) Issue two: On our iPad2 running iOS 9.3.5 it says the "device is incompatible" - MCPE on this iPad2 still runs original Minecraft Mashup packs (Greek Myth, Fallout etc) with no issue, so why not AD? :(
  16. Hey, working on getting the answers to this for you. We sent it up, and got some information. Still waiting to hear back on question 1. For question 2, they have a requirement that devices have more than 512mb of ram to be able to play the larger maps on the store. They admitted there's not a very clear guideline on their grey-listing, and it's something they're looking into to give more predictable outcomes for us in the future. On our end, there is no significant change to the game that should impact the performance any differently than in-house mashups, so we're a little lost to why that's the case as well.

I'll continue to respond to this thread if I get any better information, or an answer to the first question. We're glad you're enjoying what you've been able to try!
  17. I bought this using my phone (Samsung Galaxy s7 edge) but I also play on my Galaxy Tab 2 tablet. Unfortunately I can't seem to download it to the tablet. It just says the Mash-up pack isn't compatible with my device. Is that something that is going to be added or am I just SOL?
  18. First of all. Congrats to Noxcrew for aa truly impressive and well done map. Unfortunately, like others, we encountered problems at the end.

We were all playing on the latest PE edition on iOS.

During the battle with the dragon (I played with my three daughters) we got to the point the dragon should have died (hit point bar down to empty) but he just disappeared. Then we hit the button in the middle and he reappeared (full health) and we got a msg to deactivate towers then kill the dragon. During that battle one of my daughters hit the button again and second dragon appeared. It took quite a long time to kill both dragons (very arduous) and then, nothing. Nothing happened after that. It seems like there's an exit or path that is blocked off (directly far opposite the entrance). Was that supposed to open?

Disappointed having got that far for nothing to happen; we tried again. In the interest of time, we started the map in creative mode to quickly find all 10 artifacts/treasures and open the armory. Then, back in survival mode, we entered the arena. But no dragon. And clicking the button in the middle does nothing.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

As a suggestion; it would be nice to have an option to deal with monster spawners in adventure mode. For the first run we did it mostly in adventure mode and only changed to survival mode so we could use torches to disable spawners (we assumed that was the intent ; else why even let characters find torches if they can't be used)
    Avondale likes this.
  19. We're pretty limited by the current state of the game, but I'll try to address these points to help you understand what's going on:

The Ender Dragon disappearing is a Minecraft bug. It's inconsistent and difficult to reproduce, so we put in the ability to spawn multiple dragons as both a way for people to still complete the fight if it bugged out, and to raise the level of difficulty for players who prefer that. When we have the ability to do this in a better way we will re-evaluate the fight and republish the map with a changelog, but for now that's all we've got.

As far as an ending sequence, the game doesn't currently provide us with a good option to track when the fight has been completed. Once there is an easy way to guarantee the fight has been completed (should be in 1.2) I would like to revisit that and add some sort of a reward, either visual or as an item, to reward the player in that instance.

The map puts you in survival mode and recommends you don't break blocks for the best experience. Placing torches is allowed under those rules. If you were to put the players in adventure mode manually that would disable the ability to place the torches.

We appreciate you playing the map, and thank you for bearing with some of the work-arounds we had to do to make the map function in 1.1. The Better Together update is adding a bunch of features for map makers, and we will be revisiting all of our 1.1 titles to make improvements when that happens.
